Vanessa Cuthbert

Pages from, Vanessa Cuthbert’s ‘When my opera bird sings’
This is the sort of book i could look at for hours. Every time you look at a page you spot something new. I drive myself crazy thinking and analysing people, art, the written word, almost everything, and so i found myself completely emersed in it. I was trying to work out the story of the book, (i didn’t get there, it just got my head whirring at 100 miles an hour and a funny feeling in my tummy). I’d love to create a book that could create someone so much intrigue and excitement as this one did for me. I'm going to work on my own book asap!

I'd like my book to be mostly printed textiles but i'd love to add in other materials and applique some of the pages as well. I've also thought about having some knitted pages, which if done properly could look beautiful.
